A new project that could make water powered vehicles a practical reality took a step forward today as clean technology provider Ultra Green, announced a new deal to provide funding for the Electro Hydrogen Generator (EHG) technology.
The new EHG technology, the brain child of OM Energy Ltd, converts waste energy in an engine’s exhaust to extract hydrogen from ordinary water. The hydrogen is then used with a conventional fuel to power a combustion engine.
Ultra Green has established ongoing links with scientists throughout the world. The majority of work is of a proprietary nature but has resulted in Ultra Green being the owner or co-owner of key clean energy know how or IP.
Wind power is increasingly being used as alternative natural energy source. However, there is a limit to the amount of land that can be used for wind farms.
Harnessing the power of the seas (which the planet has a lot of!) offers largely untapped potential.
Current wave and tidal power installations can be equally as damaging to the environment as traditional energy sources and infrastructure and maintenance costs are high.

Low cost energy efficient lighting without compromise
The SpriteLite Flood combines the latest in low-power LED technology with robust British manufacture and intelligent design to provide a flexible and effective low-power flood lighting solution. The SpriteLite system is the next generation of super-efficient LED-based lighting units for domestic or urban use.
|
|
The SpriteLite has been designed with two prime objectives.
The first was to create a low cost, low energy lighting system that could be
fitted in any type of accommodation, and the second was to design a light that
provided comparable luminescence to standard bulbs.
SpriteLite is the complete package, offering super low-power
LED-based strip lighting, an estimated 30% energy savings over conventional
lights, and an innovative lens system that ensures each 4W LED provides light
equivalent to a standard 40W bulb.

Low cost local energy security
Award-winning British inventor, Ultra Green’s Alexander Bushell, has created one of the world’s first all-in-one renewable power management systems. The PowerBoss is a compact, ‘intelligent’ energy management unit, no bigger than the size of a large shoe box, designed to store energy from photovoltaic panels and wind turbines that can run low voltage lighting, water pumps and ventilation systems.

Ultra Green is constantly on the look-out to develop and commercialise new technologies that are bankable propositions. We have identified more than a few extraordinary technologies and techniques over the past few years that have gone from being a prototype through to a saleable commodity.
Ultra Green is developing a number of other energy sources including fuel cells that can be recharged simply with commonly available materials and new solar and emulsified water applications. These are proprietary processes and no technical details can be published at present.
