Turning waste into a valuable commodity
A technical strategy has been pursued to develop and commercialise a portfolio of waste to energy technologies and plant designs. We recognise our market sector demands considerable detail and proof of operational performance. In addition safety and fitness for purpose tests are imposed. To achieve the necessary standards considerable work has been done on reaching detailed design stage and certification of a carefully-selected collection of plant designs. The designs chosen provide flexibility and bespoke models to suit various industrial requirements, waste feedstock and locations.
Ultra Green is concentrating on two business structures:
1. Build Own Operate (BOO) of industrial sized larger projects and lease hire of mobile equipment. This approach provides the maximum financial leverage and highest returns.
2. Outright purchases with Ultra Green providing technical and maintenance support.
The Ultra Green Waste Management team has already begun waste to energy projects in Northern Brazil, the Philippines and the USA
North America
We have received a very high level of support from both the federal and state governments to bring a British backed renewable energy company into Indiana.
In addition we are being given control and management of the County landfill site to build waste to energy and landfill gas extraction. The local prison will take all the gas we produce. The landfill is currently handling 500 tons per day and can increase to just over 1,000 tons per day. The factory is located a half a mile from the East West Interstate I-80 and close to Chicago and Detroit with rail head and shipping facilities. The plan is to build the mobile packaged units at this location and establish a country wide mobile plant hire business.
Brazil
We have signed a joint venture agreement with one of Brazil’s largest energy providers, A&G Energia, to set up a company to produce and operate a mobile packaged plant lease hire business in Brazil. This business cooperation is beginning to grow beyond the original mobile lease hire plant business. We have now entered proposals for two industrial waste to energy projects in Brazil.
Commercial Technology
The mobile waste to energy packaged lease hire business is unique to Ultra Green. From our research there is great and growing demand, and no one else providing the service. The mobile plant is contained in two 40ft containers and processes half a ton of waste per hour generating half a megawatt of electricity.
There are variations to this basic design which can also provide liquefied bio-methane from landfill, bio-ethanol from plant waste, and bio-diesel from hydro carbon waste.
We can offer six waste to energy designs all for use in large industrial projects and applications.
