Paul Gittins

Paul Gittins is a scientist with particular expertise in the areas of sustainability and climate change.

He has a background in the oil and gas industry, where he worked for three years offshore as a data logger and core analyst. His interest in renewable energy and environmental issues then led him to take an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London, where he studied energy technologies along with energy policy and economics. He carried out his research project on the technical implications of carbon capture and storage technology, earning a distinction for his thesis.

Most recently Paul has been carrying out research for Surrey County Council on climate change adaptation.
