About Construction

Ultra Green Construction combines construction technology with technologies from other parts of the Ultra Green Group to create a unique product and service division that will provide services to construction companies or Governments who are looking for energy security.

Ultra Green is working with Governments and construction companies to provide unique ways of adding cost effective energy efficiency to existing buildings and to plan new communities that are energy efficient and compliant with grants and which avoid penalties.

The construction team based in the UK, Brazil and South Africa has extensive knowledge of construction company needs and the requirements of social housing.

Ultra Green Construction sets out specifically to create commercial energy efficient solutions that are acceptable culturally and are affordable for any community. ‘Green’ communities do not need to be any less comfortable, nor more expensive. They should be just as attractive and relaxing as non-green equivalents and boast great designs for living that work within any space.

Construction’s primary mission is building cohesive energy efficient townships or large communities where the schools, shops, places of religious worship and homes all fit local standards of comfort and design but are affordable in the build phase and save money in the long term.

Where possible, Ultra Green Construction has built in the option of using unskilled labour to widen the appeal and use of its systems.

The UK team specialises in the planning of towns and the assessment of energy use, requirements and generation.

The South African team manages the building of relevant component factories and the development of improved insulated form blocks.

The Brazilian team specialises in social housing models.

At the core of the service and supply ethic is the need to make green communities commercially attractive to construction companies and governments.

An advocate of Ultra Green’s integrated approach is the President of the Maldives, Mohammed Nasheed, who has designated an island to showcase Ultra Green’s energy efficient technologies. Read more here.
