About Agriculture & Biofuel

Ultra Green's Agriculture & Biofuel team began working together on a sustainable biofuel project in early 2008. Their world-renowned respective technologies and techniques were integrated specifically to produce crops that would:

  • Grow faster
  • Have greater resistance against disease
  • Yield more fruit
  • Be planted and harvested using coppicing and pollarding techniques that worked with the natural landscape and did not destroy it
  • Provide unskilled local labourers with employment

To ensure the workforce was well looked after and the environment maintained with low carbon initiatives, a social housing programme was put in place that included a low cost, chemical-free organic waste treatment plant, affordable purified water technology, and vehicles powered using biofuel.

It was then that we recognised we also wanted biofuel that would work as predictably as fossil fuel in all conditions. Ultra Green's Biomax range was born, a range of high performance additives that significantly improve biofuel performance.
